Women’s Health:

Pelvic Health

    • Any amount of leaking of urine, gas, or stool beyond your control
      • Fancy names: Urinary Incontinence, Bowel Incontinence, Anal Incontinence
    • Urinary frequency (time between urination is less than 2 hours)
    • Waking at night to urinate
      • Fancy name: Nocturia
    • Strong uncontrollable urges to urinate or have a bowel movement
      • Fancy name: Urinary Urgency
    • Pain with a full bladder
      • Fancy names: Interstitial Cystitis, Painful Bladder Syndrome
    • Pain during or after urination
    • Pain with bowel movements
    • Constipation (difficulty in stool evacuation; bowel movements less than 1 per day)
    • Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Pelvic Pain Related:

    • Pain during and/or after intercourse
      • Fancy names: Dyspareunia, Vaginismus, Vulvodynia
    • Vulvar, vaginal, genital pain
      • Fancy name: Vulvodynia
    • Pelvic pain
      • Fancy names: Levator Ani Syndrome, Pudendal Neuralgia
    • Abdominal pain
    • Scar tissue adhesions/pain (abdominal, vaginal)
    • Coccyx (tailbone) pain
      • Fancy name: Coccydynia 
    • Pain during pregnancy
    • Pelvic organ prolapse (“falling out” feeling of pelvic tissues)
      • Fancy names: Cystocele, Rectocele, Uterine prolapse
    • Pubic bone pain
      • Fancy name: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction
    • SI joint pain
      • Fancy name: Sacroilitis, Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction


General Musculoskeletal Conditions:

  • Hip pain
  • Back pain
  • Knee pain
  • Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SI joint)
