Here’s a little personal and professional background to help you get to know me:
First of all, my name is Lacey Welch. I received by Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Harding University in 2006, and completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010. During physical therapy school, I had the unique opportunity to complete a specialized clinical rotation in pelvic health. After graduation, I went on to attend intense pelvic health courses (which I continue to do), allowing me to further dive in to this facet of physical therapy. In 2011, I was granted a position to aid in the growth of an established pelvic health program at a local hospital based outpatient clinic. After working there for 3 years, my husband received a job opportunity in Las Vegas, so we packed up and headed West. While in Las Vegas, I was able to develop a successful market wide pelvic health program from the ground up for a large physical therapy company. In 2016, we had a little boy who convinced us it was time to move back home to Texas, so that we did, and here I am with the development of Under the Hood Physical Therapy!
Other than all that boring physical therapist stuff, I am also a wife of 12 years to my sweet husband, Ryan, and mama to the most joyful earth angel boy, Ridley, for 1+ years. We have lived in Arkansas, Texas, and Nevada during our life together, but Texas is our home.
I can’t wait to hear from you!
